It's another great trophy for the hunks at Chumk who were also awarded silver for their famous steak pasty. Chunk are the only pie maker in the country to win two top slots in separate categories at these pretigious awards, having previously won Britain's best pasty in 2009.
"It's been a crazy couple of years." said Simon Bryon-Edmond, Chunk's Managing Director. "We have seen the business grow threefold in a short space of time and now employ 40 hunks. We supply loads of nice farm shops, butchers, delis and corner shops throughout the South of England. In addition, Chunk will be making all the pasties for Wimbledon this year and also sell in Harrods. There's a lot going on."

School children from Elburton, Wembury, Brixton and Newton Ferres are visiting Moostone Meats in Wembury from Monday 17th to Friday 21st June as part of the National Trust’s schools’ week.
