Entries without the Food & Drink Devon badge are not members of Food & Drink Devon but supply produce in Devon.
Music at the Food Festival
First Night Party, Wednesday 21st September - No strangers to the music scene in Dartmouth, James Harris & Mick Jones of Saxappeal who also play as a Jazz Duo will be providing the music for this evening. Mitch, Michael & Fergus, food from Dartmouth's best chefs, music from James and Mick and great company, what more could you ask for? Tickets £25, reserve yours at the TIC now.
Irish Night, Friday 23rd October - In conjunction with Dart Music Festival we are pleased to bring you an evening of Irish Music, provided by the ever popular Mad Dog McRea, for you to get 'jigging' to, accompanied by Irish Stew, Colcannon and Soda Bread.
Last year the Friday night proved to be very lively and we are hoping to create the same atmosphere this year.Tickets £12.50 from the TIC
Film at the Food Festival
New this year we have showings of food themed films for you to enjoy.
Thursday 15th October the Film Society are showing ‘ Jamon Jamon’ at the Guildhall. Jamon in spanish, not only means ham but also 'a dish of a woman' Penelope Cruz is this dish in this often surprising tale of sex, deception and tragedy. Pre film nibbles will be provided.
Monday 19th October at the Flavel we have a special showing of ‘Sweeney Todd’ This film is sponsored by Chunk Pies and there will be pies to taste if you dare!!!
Thursday 22nd October, again at the Flavel, we have the scrumptious ‘Chocolat’, sponsored by Salcombe Chocolate Academy and South Devon Chilli Farm for Chilli Cholcolate. There will be chocolate to taste …. Yummy!!
Art at the Food Festival
Resident Artists Kate Keara Pelen- At the beginning of the Festival Kate Keara Pelen will be sketching events, these can then be viewed at the Coombe Gallery on Friday evening and on Saturday & Sunday
Sarah Bell - local watercolourist Sarah Bell will be with us again this year. Throughout the weekend she will be sketching subjects from the Festival on her stall in the market.
Open Galleries Week with Open Galleries Evening

Local Society Supports the Food Festival with 'Cooking for Kings'
The Dartmouth and Kingswear branch of NADFAS has co-ordinated it's Series 10 programme to include a food related lecture for October.
On Monday 12th October, 2.30pm at the Flavel, Ian Kelly will speak on 'Cooking for Kings; The Life and Career of Antonin Careme, the first Celebrity Chef' Careme was chef to Napoleon, the Prince Regent & the Tsar of Russia. Guests are welcome, admission £6.
Grand Food Festival Raffle
Tickets only a £1 and just look at what you could win ....... either as a treat for yourself or as a present for a relative or very good friend!
1st Prize - Two nights accommodation for two at Brown's Hotel, with dinner for two at The Seahorse Restaurant on one evening and The New Angel Restaurant on the other. (prize excludes wine)
2nd Prize - Two nights B&B for two in a luxury apartment at the Dart Marina Hotel, with one spa treatment per person in their award winning health spa.
3rd Prize - A private cookery workshop for four and two nights B&B for four at Manna from Devon cooking school.

We are also looking for Patrons and Supporters to help us sell tickets, either in town at the markets or we will send books for you to sell. If you can sell 20 books your name will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher towards a meal at Anzac Street Bistro.
