DARTMOOR'S ONLY FRESH MEAT DELIVERY SERVICE; TOR TO DOOR WINS SAUSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPAT 2010 DEVON COUNTY SHOW
With their Butchey based on their Farm at Widecombe in the Moor, Tor To Door is delighted to announce that their Hand Made, Free Range, Saddleback Pork Sausage won the Overall Championship at last weekend's Devon County Show.
Beating off significant competition from other leading sausage makers in the County, Tor to Door Butcher and Trained Chef Paul put together a new recipe specially for this year's entry and walked away as the overall Winner with his Holwell Pork, Devon Apple & Cider Flavour.
Judges commented that the flavour was outstanding and also awarded Tor to Door the "Best Speciality Sausage" as well as the overall Championship - Well Done Paul !
Tor to Door provides a uniqe service to it's customers throughout the West Country and countrywide; delivering the freshest, free range Beef, Lamb and Pork products direct from Dartmoor Farms.  None of the animals reared for Tor to Door will ever have spent a day of their lives outside of the Dartmoor National Park.  Their pure, grass based diets and "slow maturity" ensures the very special flavour of all their meats.  Located high up amongst the iconic tors of Dartmoor, Holwell Farm where Tor to Door is based, was featured in the popular TV Series "Forgotten Farm" and will be in the "Spotlight" again shortly when the BBC presents its series "The Secret Life of Farm Animals" with Jimmy from "Jimmy's Farm".  With arguably the most intelligent pigs in the Country, Holwell was the focus of the "pig" episode.
To celebrate their decisive Win at the Devon County Show with the "Best Sausage in Devon" Tor to Door would like to offer readers a FREE 1kg of the Winning Flavour Sausages with any Box orders placed during May and June (min. order value £50)
