So what makes Red Ruby Beef so special? The Red Devon is a traditional breed of cattle native to this area. They are a slow maturing animal which fattens well and as a result they produce excellent quality well marbled tender meat. Our beef is hung on the bone for 3 weeks before being expertly cut and prepared by a local butcher.

All our meat is 100% natural and produced on our farm so you can feel confident that you know exactly where your meat comes from. Our cows graze the hay meadows along the River Clyst in the summer months and in the winter their food is supplemented by silage and crushed barley which is also produced on the farm.

Buying our meat

You can visit our farm shop to purchase your beef or call 01392 461215. We also sell our meat at Killerton Farmer’s Market on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

We deliver free of charge within the Exeter area or call us to arrange to visit the farm and collect your order. Our beef is delivered in ice boxes and is vacuum packed to maintain freshness and save fridge and freezer space.

Farm shop
In addition to our beef, our farmshop sells home made cakes, our own free range eggs and a selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables and jams and chutneys.
