White Hart Bar and Restaurant at Dartington Hall

Located just 2 miles from Totnes, The White Hart is set within the medieval courtyard of Dartington Hall and occupies what were originally the kitchens of the magnificent fourteenth-century Hall. The main restaurant has recently been fully refurbished and restored to its former glory with flagstone and oak flooring, gothic chandeliers, limed oak settles and ancient tapestry work hanging above the original kitchen fire. The White Hart provides diners with a unique blend of contemporary dining and historic tradition.

At The White Hart every effort is made to source the freshest, seasonal ingredients from South Devon and even the Dartington estate - locally cured ham, single-suckled beef and grass-reared lamb, additive-free and free-range chickens and eggs, fish sourced daily at the local fish market and local cheeses from speciality cheese-makers. Items on the menu change daily to take full advantage of the best local and seasonal food.

Open: The White Hart Bar is open from 10am - 11pm, Monday to Saturday. Sunday 11am - 10:30pm.

Food is served 12 – 2.30 pm and 6 – 9 pm Monday to Friday and 12 - 9pm on Saturday and Sunday.
